#6568 No, spencer, 500 word minimum are you fucking me.

No lists, No 500 words... LJ's speech wasnt even 500 words.

Okay we're skipping spencer because he didn't listen to my criteria.

Spencer, we'll come back to you after you alter your questions to ask for briefer answers.

Natalie, You're up queen.

So let me get into my questions.

We'll start with Mr. Nice Guy, Tai

Tai, I am of the opinion that you are the least deserving finalist. You voted wrong alot and pissed off most of the jury. But, I'm going to give you a chance to redeem yourself. Tell me how you got YOURSELF to the end, because I think you got carried by LJ.

Now let's go to mister LJ.

LJ, you are probably the most well-liked of all the finalists. For good reason, you are very nice and I struggle to remember a time when you lied to me in this game besides maybe once.

However, you voted wrong. Alot. As a fan of this game, I can't vote for someone to win when it is apparent they have no strategic prowess or real read on the game. So prove me wrong, why should I vote for you despite your voting record being so bad?

Finally we have Aubry.

Aubry, I respect the move you made at the f4. It was the smartest thing to do, take out the biggest threat to win and bring two "goats" to the end. But now that I'm out of the game and I have had some time to reflect, how is your game any different than LJ's? What makes him the "goat" and you the person that deserves the win?

Thanks guys, and good luck.

#6594 I put "bullied" in quotes because someone else pointed it out that they felt that people were bullying me. I said I did not feel like I was being bullied after a host asked if I felt like I was. I actually don't think I played a victim at all in this game.

The only time I felt like I was wronged in this game is when Andrea and Nick lied to everyone during the tribal council. Saying that it was always going to be Fran that vote. When there was a total of 8 people who knew that the plan was originally to take out Julia. I felt that was completely unnecessary, but I guess they needed to do that for their game.

BUTTTT I do want to apologize to Aubry, I made her two pinky swears that I knew I had no intention of keeping. I feel bad to Trish because I feel like her flopping over to me costed her game. I feel bad that Lindsey used her idol on me and that costed her game(which actually is one of my fears for Survivor game is to used the idol wrong and then I go home).

Lol, i mean you can always post it still, but I don't believe you considering the brevity of your opening essay.

#6605 I'm not trying to say I was aware of everything, for sure! I was relying on people in bigger alliances because they had numbers - for a decent part of the merge, I just didn't have the power to make a move. But I was more than a friendly face - once I had gained the trust of members of the majority (by being in the dark - I had to blindly follow orders for those two votes to gain their trust), I made moves. Such as your vote out, which turned the tide of the game. Of course, Andrea/Nat/Steve get credit for this too, but I pushed it along to happen earlier to protect the minority. As for the excel, I know it was flawed. It was intended to be a tool to save my butt. So of course, it biased towards a Tai/LJ/Nat win everywhere it could, so I could sell that possibility to them.

Jurors:

Julia: Me.
Trish: Undecided. Probably not me though, based on our time in the game together.
Spencer: "Still up in the air" ;)
Morgan: Random, based on her question.
Nick: This is the toughest one for me, as he seemed disillusioned with me right before his vote out. Maybe Tai.
Lindsey: LJ.
Andrea: Me.
Steve: Me or LJ.
Nat: Me.

#6606 Miss Natalie,

On the whole voting record thing, I think you have to throw out the first three votes. Fran, Julia, and Trish going had nothing to do with me. I can’t be faulted for other people’s boneheaded mistakes. (cough Aubry cough [just kidding Aubry you’re fantastic])

My game really started with the Spencer vote. From that point on I missed once and it was on a blind idol play that I think we all knew wasn’t going to work. And, bless your heart Lindsey you’re my favorite, but her going there was good for me because it broke up the threat of us as a pair and allowed the Andrea talk to breathe.

If you count Lindsey going as a sort-of win for me, I was perfect down the stretch. AKA when it matters.

These two beautiful people sitting next to me can’t say that, can they?

Thanks for your kind words, I meant everything I said to you before we voted you out.

#6620 Okay y'all, first of all, congrats to you all for making it this far! I enjoyed getting to know you all and I can genuinely say I like you all in some way or another. But, this is a game, so I'll be making my decision solely on gameplay.

I think I speak for the majority of the jury tonight when I say that my vote's still up in the air. This is my current perspective on the situation:

I feel that Aubry, you had a strong social game, but were lacking when it came to reading the flow of the game and being able to make the right strategic decisions. You seemed lost at times and heavily under the jurisdiction of those in bigger alliances to include you in their plans. Now, hearing about your spreadsheet makes me even believe even more that you were clueless to some things given who you thought you could and couldn't beat. But hey, I'm cocky too so I can't fault you for that completely.

LJ, I got a strong sense that you were smarter than you were letting on when I first met you. You made some solid strategic decisions, but many people on the jury, myself included have find it hard to separate you from Lindsey, as she was the more outspoken one. She says that you did a lot of strategy, but I have yet to see how it connects to you. You're a funny dude, but shut up; stop joking around and prove to me that you want and deserve to win.

Tai, from my point of view the majority of your plans failed, but at least you played out in the open, and I can respect that. I don't see how you view yourself as being "bullied" though, but ok, I think some of my fellow jurors have more to say on that front.

Now, I could ask you all to define the moves that you made on your own that shaped your game, but that's boring, and I'm sure you've already been asked that. So instead, I want you two to own your game. In a season full of dull tribal councils, lukewarm responses, constant not trying to ruffle any feathers by giving vague answers, and passive participation at said tribals from both of you, now is your chance to own your game as your own. No more middle-of-the-road; it's time to choose a side, and if it's not yours, you're not getting my vote tonight.

Given how completely terrible you guys have been at answering questions tonight, I've done some revising:

Aubry - You definitely weren't the most aware of what was going on. Prove to me now that you know these people you got to know so well: who's votes do you think you have 100% tonight and why?

LJ - Throughout this game, you stayed so quiet, even now, as the victory is within sight, your intro was super short, and you continue to joke. So, tell me what winning this game means to you, why do you want to win?

Tai - You have maybe the biggest victim complex of anyone I've ever met. Who do you felt you've wronged the most and why?

Get brutal, get real: the entirety of the last 31 days is at stake.

#6628 (editor’s note – I liked your original version better. Don’t let these guys hold you down Spencer.)

Ok look, I know I’ve been a little lighter than my competitors but I am taking this very seriously and I REALLY want to win. And honestly, I think I should win.

Lindsey and I talked strategy constantly but that’s a totally valid criticism. Like I said to Steve, I knew her being seen as a bigger threat throughout the merge would benefit me. The problem of course, is sitting here and looking like an idiot who didn’t do anything all game. So how do you find that balance, you know?

In terms of specific votes, and strategically how much pull did I have?

I pushed HARD for the Morgan vote. My allies wanted to pull the trigger on Andrea there and we were getting overtures from Natalie and Steve (who knows how real they were) and I had to argue for Morgan with them as well.

My rationale to them on voting Morgan instead was that we needed Andrea around because she was such a big threat to win that they could make that move any time but if Morgan made it much further, she’d be a HUGE threat to make it to the end.

In reality, for myself, my reasoning was that I needed Andrea to make it as far as possible. If Natalie and Steve pulled the trigger on her too early they could just regroup and retain majority. I needed the move on Andrea to be made at a point when they wouldn’t have the numbers to recover.

I was ALWAYS thinking 1,000 steps in advance, my problem was just that the numbers were never there. Until they were. From that point, piece after piece after piece fell right where I wanted them to.

As for your question –

Winning this would mean a lot to me. It was such an uphill climb to even get here, and I’m super proud of the fact that I pulled it off. I think more than anything, I’m proud of the fact that I did it without compromising any promises I made to anyone. That actually means a lot to me. I think one of the hardest things to achieve in this game is getting to the end without lying, deceiving, and backstabbing. Now, I told a few lies don’t get me wrong. But not to anyone who wasn’t giving me the same in return.

And on a personal note just for you – I owe you an apology. I pegged you from day one as someone that would be trouble for me down the road and everything you did kind of became some shady ulterior motive thing, you know? I wish I had made more of an effort post-merge to talk to you. Not about the game, but just in general. You’re a great person and I enjoyed our conversations before the swap. It’s completely on me that that didn’t continue after we merged.

Thanks boss!

We're both likeable. But, as has been pointed out, I don't really think that LJ made many moves he can claim, either attempted or successful. I knew that my alliance was in trouble after the merge vote, and got to work getting into the majority alliance to keep them alive - which worked. I kept both idols under wraps. I gave my idol to Tai to use. While I did think he was the vote, which was incorrect, I showed both sides that I could be trusted at the same time. By giving Tai the idol and also voting for him, I showed my true allegiance only to the minority, while this was the move that got certain members of the majority (Andrea specifically) to trust me. This is a move that achieved half of its purpose - I LOVE LJ SO MUCH but I don't think he can claim any moves or attempted moves like this.

I don't recall fighting the Morgan vote for the record, but I could be misremembering.
My recollection is that you came to me pushing Andrea, we talked about it briefly, and you were cool with waiting. I used "argue" lightly in your case. I talked about it with Steve for a while though. Aubry, Tai, and Lindsey as well.
