At least he had to, though. It makes me happy to know he HAD to throw that, and not that he was too inept to merely submit the puzzle we slaved away at and creamed everyone on!

Legit it was soooooo hard to keep coming up with excuses for my computer, like I was messaging Nick and telling him to hurry TF up, it was so painful
question: where you like forbidden from telling people about it? because one of the first things garrett told me was that you threw it for an advantage. and when i asked you about it, you said you didn't throw it...but if you'd just been like "i had to throw it to keep my sheikh immunity," that would have been totally believable and i wouldn't have been so paranoid you had an idol/advantage.
Yeah, we couldn't tell people about the tasks at all, I told Garrett I had some super secret special power though, lol, but nothing about the tasks that everyone correctly guessed I had been given.

#5746 Our Sheikh election was between me and Aubry, and ALECIA was the deciding vote for me. Boy how things change.

It was definitely basic knowledge that "Spencer had to throw immunity as a Sheikh task" after the fact. He didn't directly admit it to me, but I think we all chalked it up as that.

Honestly, Spencer, I think being Sheikh is what cost you your game.
but if he'd just told me when i asked him i would have felt like a confidante instead of like he was playing me, and we would have blindsided nick instead of him.
AND if he would've talked with me more instead of practically ignoring me post-merge, I would've told him you guys we're gunning for him and we'd take over!

But, I played an idol on someone besides myself and got out that round. Who am I to talk about hindsight?

I would agree, I lost people's trust right off the bat and had a hard time gaining it back. I haven't seen any other seasons of this, so I didn't know sheikhs were a thing at all, let alone tasks, so if I had known that I wouldn't have been so gung ho about it

In this game you can speculate all you want after the fact, but nothing'll come of it. Everyone played the best they could in the moment.

very true. i've made myself crazy thinking about what i could have said at my council to change things...but honestly i think the BEST i could have done was make aubry vote for tai instead of steve and force a tie. eh.

Very true. And, I clank my glass at you, Nick, because I commend you for playing a full game. You did all you could, you were a character. If this were actual Survivor and an audience of 10 million were watching, they'd love you. So be proud. icon_drinks
