Episode 2: Aubry is in a pretty sweet spot right now. I'd argue possibly the best spot. She's pretty much the only one who doesn't have a serious bone to pick with Nick, although she knows enough to be wary of him, and she's taking advantage of the fact that he has next to nobody to work with. She's really tight with Tai. She isn't exactly loved by Neal but he's pretty meh about most things it seems,
so I guess it's like his version of love to be indifferent towards someone. She doesn't seem to be too close with Alecia or Julia but thanks to Nick she is far from their target list, at least at the moment,
and I don't think anyone would bite if they threw out her name. She's also proven to be able to successfully make people think she likes them when she actually detests them, see Kyle. All in all, I see good things in Aubry's future. Even in a swap situation I think she'd be able to easily work her magic to make new allies.

Episode 1: Where do I begin? First of all, while he's a total mess strategically, he's a riot and I'm very glad he's still in this. I actually kind of hope he does well now that his brother is gone. What a great story arc that'd be. Kind of Natalie Anderson-esque. He's a tad more unhinged than Natalie though. This kid has had so many ridiculous moments it's hard to nail down which ones are my favorites. Some of the best might be his Red Herring spiel, his insisting to multiple people that he wants to play this game like a hero and doesn't care about winning, and his obvious attempt at changing the idol clue wording that got immediately found out. To his credit, he and his brother did a solid job socializing and setting themselves up initially. They had a good thing going before they went straight nutter butters on everyone. He's not the best strategically just because he completely lacks tact and his strategy basically consists at throwing a whole bunch of stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks, but he's entertainment gold. If he's able to dial it back a bit I could see him surviving at least a few more rounds, possibly into the merge but I think he might self-destruct before then.

Episode 2 Julia has barely been around, and has no solid connections with her tribe as of yet, but there are several people who WANT to have connections with her. If she put forth a minute amount of effort, she could be in a really good position, but as it stands now she's easily towards the bottom and among the discussed boots should they go to tribal next. However, credit where credit is due, she does appear to have some fire in her after that last tribal.
I wrote all that other stuff pre-tribal, so there has been a noticeable change since then. Maybe she's picking it up? I don't know, but I liked what I saw.

Round 2: What a mess Kyle was. Although he was admittedly far more interesting than Kyle 1.0, by like a thousand miles. This guy came into the game as arrogant as they come with absolutely nothing to back it up and I'm still not sure if it was legit or just an act. One thing that kept happening over the course of nuKyle's few day stay in Socotra is he'd express interest in working with some people (Aubry, Julia, Alecia) and in some cases (Aubry) really like them, but in every instance they either didn't talk to him at all or just outright detested him, and sweet Kyle was blissfully unaware.
So it's not really a huge shock that he left. I'd say this wasn't even any fault of the original Kyle's.
NuKyle just did a terrible job at making connections with people that were halfway legitimate and that's what got him.

Episode 1: Lindsey is easily my number 1 for this tribe. She's in a solid position with tight allies in both Trish and LJ, and having demonstrated the ability to flourish socially. She's the kind of player that will likely go far into the merge but then people will realize how well-liked she is and take her out. She's also been pretty solid, confidence-wise. That's why I put her over LJ. While he is constantly overthinking his position, she seems to know where she stands. Which could honestly be her undoing at some point. I mean she had no idea she was hated by Woo, but then that was such a random, irrational hatred that I don't really blame her. I knew about it and I was confused, so... But yeah, so far she's been a pretty take-charge personality and she knows what she's doing. I think she'll go far.

Episode 1: I really like LJ, but he seems to be second guessing himself a lot. He's got a pretty solid thing going for himself but I don't think he's aware of how good he is right now. Which is kind of an advantage, in a way. You don't want to be too confident. But at the same time, overthinking and uncertainty can lead to making mistakes. I want to see him step it up soon, and I think he will.

Episode 1: Morgan definitely started things off kinda slow, easily on the bottom of her tribe. Not super social compared to the rest and while not inactive, definitely the least inactive of that bunch and the most likely to leave. She kind of got lucky that Woo and Garrett were playing waaaaay too hard. To her credit, though, she stepped it up when she found out she was a target. She seems the type to lay low until you piss her off, then the claws come out. I don't think she's completely a dud, but she's got a lot to make up for when compared to the rest of her tribe. She's still a target, she's been listed as the potential next to go if Garrett can chill out a bit, but she's got some hope.

Episode 2: Neal is an interesting case. He doesn't really ahve any allies and he's shying away from the "drama" but drama is a part of the game, if you isolate yourself you're going to find it somewhat difficult to succeed in this game. I'm not a very confrontational person either, but just ignoring conflict doesn't make it go away, and it's the absolute worst approach to take in this game. It's a quick way to lose respect and to lose footing in the hustle and bustle. I want to like Neal, but he needs to step it up. On a tribe of 7 (now 6) you can't be that choosy about the people you work with.
Episode 3: Not really sure what else to add here. Neal's boot was pretty uneventful. I don't even really know what he could've done better, except maybe trying a bit harder to develop closer bonds with people, but it's not like he didn't try at all. Sometimes the the cookie crumbles beneath your feet.

Spencer has been a roller coaster of ridiculousness. He's made some solid plays, but also some questionable ones. That's why I'm placing him this low. He had the unfortunate luck to have a really good tribe when it came to challenges, making it painfully obvious that he was throwing, and he had the right idea of wanting to use the brothers as shields come merge time. The only problem with his Operation Meat Shield is that it was painfully obvious what he was doing and that it only served to benefit him. Not to mention that he was quickly becoming a bigger target than they would be. Shields only serve they're purpose if they can actually cover you. If you're 5x bigger than your shield, it doesn't help much. I feel as though his continued pushing to save them when the majority was so set against them is going to hurt him. He's already fallen out of trust with some of his tribemates. The way he threw the challenge was hilarious though. I cracked up when he posted just the one piece.

Episode 2: Tai is another interesting case. Up until tribal I'd have said he was in the best spot because he was adeptly working with the majority group and the outcasts of Julia and kind of Alecia. I fear he revealed too much of his hand at tribal though. He really is kind of like the actual Tai, not really thinking before blurting stuff out. His callout of Nick was kind of unnecessary, even if it was entertaining, and while Nick is on the bottom for now, it's not like he's going anywhere. I feel like Tai will end up on the wrong side of the numbers in the upcoming swap and Nick will utilize his sheikh powers to get him out. He is very vocal and very social, so it probably wouldn't be hard for the right person to convince others to vote against him.
