Yeah, Aubry's being really cocky, and I think her speech actually made me want to vote for her from not wanting to. LJ needs to tell me something special though, not just that HE SURVIVED
Aubry's speech had kind of the opposite effect on me, I didn't really realize she put so much effort (or any at all) into her game. But I definitely think the spreadsheet thing was cocky af
i could totally respect the spreadsheet thing if it was right, but it WASN'T. i mean speaking only of myself--she really thought if she was sitting in the final 3 next to steve, she'd get my vote? it shows she clearly had no idea how close steve and i were, and that's fine, but you can't not know that and brag about how aware you were of the game.
Agreed. I kind of snorted out loud when I read that. I mean, I think it's awesome she did a spreadsheet, I would've done the same thing had I been in the final 5, but I think she falls shortsighted with her self-awareness.

that's the thing. i was really looking for some indication that she got all the things it seemed like she wasn't getting during the game...and for the first half of the speech it totally seemed like that! and then...it devolves into "the majority alliance wouldn't lie to me TWICE so it was a good move because what were the odds they were going to lie to me twice!" (but...we did) and then the spreadsheets.

Yeah that was definitely something, i think a short and sweet LJ speech would've been better for her.

mmhmm. it's not like she was boring during the game. she doesn't need to prove a personality to us. what she needed to prove was that she understood a lot more than she let on...and i can see how she tried to do that, but...

Yeah honestly... I came into the tribal thinking Aubry was the way to go, but now I'm leaning towards LJ (if he could damn tell us something.)

I asked LJ about his game, but if he gives me that bullshit about how he SURVIVED again I'm gonna throw my keyboard across the room.

If she doesn't realize her cockiness then that's on her.
